I’ve tried to make the process as simple as possible:
- First of all, write something about Mariam … what she meant to you, how she impacted your life, etc. If you have a good story about Mariam … tell it! This will make the site much more interesting for people to read.
- Include photos and please include a caption (identify the people in the picture, when and where it was taken).
- Then simply send an email to me (deejay1152 “at hotmail dot com”) and include your text and photos as attachments … that’s it.

Our dearest Mariam’s heart held the whole world in it❤️
Mariam was such a kind and sincere woman. Her infectious smile made you feel like you were the most important person in the world. She was genuine, fun and welcomed with open arms! In particular, whenever my Mom came from Newfoundland for a visit, Mariam always made it a priority to invite us over. It was an immediate ‘loveship’ and our time with the Lee’s became a highlight of Mom’s visit over the years.
Jamie and I have many fond memories of spending time together at the lake with Mariam and Douggy❤️ Their place or ours, it always felt like a happy reunion, a celebration that always included her famous zucchini loaves. And, there was always an extra one for us to enjoy later. That was Mariam❤️
